EMDR Intensives

When insight isn’t enough, and your body still won’t let go - Come find the healing that past therapy couldn’t reach.

Testimonials

  • “I came into the intensive with years of therapy behind me and all the insight, but I still felt disconnected, reactive, and stuck in patterns I couldn’t shift. Working with Morgan was the first time I felt safe enough to go deeper — to see that what I thought were flaws were actually protective parts doing their job. The work was grounding, experiential, and finally felt real. I left with more compassion for myself, a clearer path forward, and the sense that healing isn’t just possible — it’s happening.”

  • “Thank you [Morgan] for your lovely co-regulating ability. You immediately put me at ease. I felt safe - that’s unusual for me!”

  • “After years of therapy and trying EMDR on and off, I knew I needed something different — my body kept shutting down anytime I got close to the pain. In just a few days with Morgan, I was able to process what had been stuck for years. My intensive offered a rare mix of structure, flexibility, and deep compassion that helped me feel truly safe. For the first time, I wasn’t just talking about my grief — I was moving through it. I left with clarity, presence, and a sense of hope I hadn’t felt in a long time.”

  • “My intensive gave me a deep sense of acceptance and a new relationship with myself and way of being with my parts.”

You’re here because you want healing and you want someone who can guide you through what talk therapy or past EMDR or IFS couldn’t reach.

You are in the right place, if you relate to any of these:

  • I have done therapy, read the books, even talked to ChatGPT, but my body still holds the trauma.

  • I have done, or I’m currently doing EMDR or IFS with a weekly or biweekly therapist, but I have a big thing I want to resolve and 60-90-minutes just isn’t enough time to go there.

  • I feel burnt out and have insight, but I want to address why this cycle of overwhelm and burnout in my body.

  • I am motivated but afraid – I crave healing but fear wasting time or not being able to “get there.”

  • I am grieving something unseen – childhood needs or abuse, parental or spousal loss, betrayal, pregnancy/infant loss, relational neglect, spiritual abuse.

  • I am yearning for authenticity and to feel present in my life– I want to show up fully without micromanaging my feelings, fearing connection, or being pulled back into the past.

  • I am desiring safe structure – I want to work with a therapist who can guide me in a process and who will be flexible and attuned to my unique needs and experiences.

  • I am an EMDR therapist who wants to do my own EMDR with a therapist who works with other therapists.

  • I am a therapist and I want to offer Intensives but first I want to do my own intensive!

Learn More About EMDR Intensives

  • An Intensive is a highly focused therapy experience over 3–5 consecutive days, with extended daily sessions (4–6 hours). Unlike weekly therapy, which often gets interrupted by life in between sessions, intensives create the time and space for deeper healing to unfold more quickly.

  • Intensives are ideal for people who:

    • Have tried talk therapy, self-help, or even EMDR/IFS before but still feel stuck

    • Are navigating grief, relational loss, betrayal, or childhood wounds

    • Want relief and results faster than traditional therapy offers

    • Desire a therapist who is flexible, attuned, and skilled at guiding deep healing

If you resonate with this, a free consultation can help us explore whether an intensive is right for you.

  • You’re not alone; Many of Morgan’s clients have tried EMDR in the past but found it too rigid or activating. Her IFS-informed EMDR style creates the safety, pacing, and personalization needed for real transformation.

There are many ways to combine EMDR treatment with other modalities to enhance effectiveness. This is why Morgan integrates EMDR with IFS, Polyvagal Theory, and attachment work. She also uses many creative strategies for bilateral stimulation and taxing your working memory which has been shown to increase effectiveness. Lastly, EMDR processing when done in multiple consecutive sessions in the same week, like an Intensive format, have also been shown to enhance effectiveness.

  • Yes. In addition to individual intensives, I work with couples who want to heal relational wounds, improve communication, and reconnect with each other. I integrate EMDR, IFS, and Imago Relationship Therapy to help couples move beyond cycles of conflict, deepen understanding, and build a more secure, compassionate bond. Couples intensives can be especially helpful if you’ve felt stuck in traditional weekly therapy or want a focused, transformative experience together.

  • I specialize in trauma of many kinds — generational trauma, childhood neglect or abuse, spiritual abuse, cultural/family dynamics, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and the impacts of oppressive systems. My work integrates EMDR, IFS, attachment, somatic regulation, and spiritual exploration.

  • Intensives are powerful — and yes, intense — but they are always tailored to what feels safe and manageable for you. We build in preparation, resourcing, and grounding so you’re supported every step of the way. You’ll also continue integrating the work with your primary therapist afterward.

  • Yes. I require all intensive clients to have a primary therapist they can return to after the intensive. This ensures you have ongoing support to continue integrating the changes from our work together. If you don’t have one or you don’t have one that you feel can support your post-intensive processing, I can help connect you with a trusted provider.
