IFS-Informed EMDR Therapy
For people who have done years of therapy, understand their patterns, and still feel stuck.
You understand your trauma intellectually.
You've been in therapy for years, maybe you’re a therapist yourself.
You know your patterns.
You know coping skills.
You still feel reactive, shut down, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck.
Our IFS-informed EMDR Extended Sessions and intensives help you move beyond insight and create lasting change in your nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. Release old wounds and reclaim safety, strength, and inner peace.
What Is IFS-Informed EMDR?
IFS-Informed EMDR combines Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help the brain digest and heal painful, stuck memories at both the emotional and nervous system levels. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, this approach helps identify and work with the parts of you carrying pain, protection, and survival responses while using EMDR to process and resolve the underlying experiences that created them.
What Is An IFS-Informed EMDR Intensive?
An IFS-Informed EMDR Intensive is a focused, multi-day therapy experience that combines Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help you address the root causes of trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and emotional distress.
Unlike weekly therapy, intensives provide uninterrupted time for deeper healing. Instead of stopping every week and starting over, we stay with the work long enough for meaningful healing to occur.
By integrating parts work, nervous system regulation, and trauma processing within a supportive environment, many clients are able to achieve months of therapeutic work in just a few days.
Each intensive is personalized to your goals and designed to help you move beyond insight into lasting emotional and nervous system change. IFS-Informed EMDR Intensive is a highly focused therapy experience with extended daily sessions of 3–5 treatment hours. Unlike weekly therapy, which often gets interrupted by life in between sessions, intensives create the time and space for deeper healing to unfold more quickly.
Clients Often Come To Intensives Feeling:
Stuck despite years of therapy
Successful but emotionally exhausted
Reactive in relationships
Numb or disconnected
Carrying unresolved childhood trauma
Clients Often Leave With:
Greater nervous system regulation
More self-compassion and clarity
Less shame
Greater emotional access
A clearer path forward
Client FAQS
-
An IFS-Informed EMDR Intensive is a highly focused therapy experience with extended daily sessions of 3–6 treatment hours. Unlike weekly therapy, which often gets interrupted by life in between sessions, intensives create the time and space for deeper healing to unfold more quickly.
Our intensives are offered in two formats:
Multi-day Intensive Retreats: Offered in 4-5 consecutive days in-person with Morgan Levine.
1-day Intensives: Offered in a weekly or biweekly format virtually with Katy Levine. -
Intensives are ideal for people who:
Are currently working with an EMDR or IFS therapist but feel stuck
Want to create the time and space to address a specific target or goal
Are navigating grief, relational loss, betrayal, or childhood wounds
Want relief and results faster than traditional weekly or biweekly therapy offers
Desire a therapist who is flexible, attuned, and skilled at guiding deep healing
-
We specialize in trauma of many kinds — generational trauma, childhood neglect or abuse, spiritual abuse, cultural/family dynamics, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and the impacts of oppressive systems. Our work integrates EMDR, IFS, attachment, somatic regulation, and spiritual exploration.
-
Intensives are powerful — and yes, intense — but they are always tailored to what feels safe and manageable for you. We build in assessment, preparation, resourcing, and grounding so you’re supported every step of the way. We collaborate closely with primary therapists, so you’ll also be supported to continue integrating the work after your intensive.
-
Many of our intensive clients have a primary therapist they can continue to work with and return to after their intensive.
This ensures you have ongoing support to continue integrating the changes from our work together.
If you don’t have a therapist, Morgan is an EMDRIA consultant for other EMDR therapists and we can help connect you with a trusted provider. -
The first step is to schedule a free consultation. We’ll talk about your goals, answer your questions, and see if an intensive is the right fit for you.

Morgan Levine, LCSW
EMDRIA Approved Consultant
Certified IFS-Informed EMDR Therapist
Intensive Trauma Specialist
I specialize in IFS-Informed EMDR Intensives because I saw how often weekly therapy was interrupted just as deeper healing began delaying the relief my clients wanted and deserved.
Intensives create the time, continuity, and focus needed to work with trauma more effectively. By combining IFS, EMDR, and nervous system + attachment informed care in a focused multi-day format, clients can often move beyond insight into meaningful, lasting change.
