An EMDR intensive is a deep, focused therapy experience conducted over multiple hours per day for several consecutive days. Intensives can differ between therapists. Learn more about our EMDR Intensives here.
Our EMDR intensives incorporate parts work and allow for profound healing in a shorter time frame than weekly therapy, and are ideal for people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or want faster results.
-
No. Many of our clients continue working with their regular therapist before and after an intensive. If you do not wish to stay with your current therapist, we provide referrals for you to find a new therapist for after your intensive. We offer adjunctive EMDR intensives to ensure the best outcomes for your healing. Therefore, we collaborate with your provider to ensure continuity of care.

Our rates vary depending on the service and provider. We are an out-of-network practice and do not bill insurance directly, but we can provide superbills upon request for possible reimbursement.

Weekly sessions are best for ongoing support and integration, or for those who want to experience IFS or EMDR before trying an intensive.
It's important that you feel safe with your therapist. Therapy is your space to do your work. The clients in our practice have this experience with us. If during your initial consultation you or we feel we are not a good fit, we will share additional referrals of trusted colleagues.
