Flexible Hours, Great Pay and Benefits, Autonomy and Community!
We are seeking an EMDR Basic Trained (preferable EMDRIA Certified) therapist to join our growing team.
At IFS EMDR Therapy Group EMDR, we provide high quality EMDR therapy with a focus on integrating modalities to meet the needs our clients including IFS, Ego States, Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing, and more. Our group values collaboration, learning, creativity, and the power of Self-led healing.
We don't just talk about healing, self-care, parts-work, and holistic wellness; we live it, setting an example for our clients by incorporating the practices that support our own Self-led healing. We understand that taking care of our own systems and communities helps us provide the best care for our clients. Balance, self-care, and interdependency are the foundation from which we work.
You might be a fit for our group if any of this is true for you:
You are passionate about using EMDR your clinical work.
You are cross trained in IFS, IFS-Informed EMDR, or Ego States.
You are a self-starter who wants flexibility and autonomy while not having to do the backend operations of a business.
You consider yourself a lifetime learner and healer dedicated to continuing education and your own healing.
You want to have choice about when and how you work with clients.
We have a current need for fully licensed therapists who have completed an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training and are licensed in Washington D.C. and Maryland (Virginia, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere a plus), and who are cross-trained or willing to be cross-trained in one or more of these models: IFS, Ego States, Attachment, Somatic Experiencing.
We welcome therapists moving from a generalist group seeking a specialized group practice or therapists moving from private practice back into a group practice. For those who are transitioning from insurance based practices, please note there is usually a 6-9 month transition to a full-time private pay caseload.
This position is W-2 and part-time (8 hr weekly minimum) with the possibility to work into full-time or start full-time if you are bringing clients with you into the practice. Here we consider full-time 16 completed clinical hours per week averaged quarterly. This usually equates to about 18-20 scheduled client hours per week. Please note you also have the flexibility to work above this minimum to meet your financial needs and to offer sessions 90-minutes or more to meet the needs of your clients - both at your discretion.
In this role, you will:

Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client.
Maintain diligent records and adhere to industry regulations.
Contribute to, and receive the benefit from, a vibrant learning community through peer consultation and ongoing training.
