Intensive Therapy Clients
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.
Are you introspective, but you feel stuck?
Have you done talk therapy, read the books, even talked to ChatGPT, and maybe tried EMDR or IFS in the past, but your feelings and body haven’t shifted?
Are you exhausted and frustrated, but not sure how to do things differently?
Do you crave healing but fear wasting time or not being able to “get there”?
Are you grieving a recent loss or relationship or something unseen from the past – childhood needs or abuse, parental or spousal loss, betrayal, pregnancy/infant loss, relational neglect, spiritual abuse?
Do you desire more authenticity and to feel present in your life– without micromanaging your feelings or others, or being pulled back into the past?
Do you want to work with a therapist who can guide you in a process and who will be flexible and attuned to your unique needs and experiences?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, we might be a great fit.
About Morgan Levine, LCSW
I’m Morgan Levine, a licensed clinical social worker, EMDR-certified therapist, IFS-Informed EMDR practitioner, and EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training. I specialize in helping individuals and couples heal deeply through therapy intensives—a focused, accelerated approach to therapy that creates meaningful change in a fraction of the time compared to weekly sessions.
For over 20 years, I’ve been walking my own healing path, beginning as a client in traditional talk therapy. While talk therapy gave me insight, I eventually realized that thinking my way through challenges wasn’t enough—my body, emotions, and deeper self still felt stuck. Discovering EMDR, IFS, Polyvagal theory, and relational healing practices transformed not only my own life but also how I now support my clients. Today, my work is about helping others move beyond intellectual understanding into embodied healing and lasting transformation.
I specialize in:
Individual Intensives – for those seeking relief from trauma, grief, anxiety, relationship wounds, or the impacts of generational and cultural oppression
Couples Intensives – blending EMDR, IFS, and Imago Relationship Therapy to help partners heal from betrayal, reconnect, and strengthen their bond
Therapist Consultation & Supervision – providing EMDR and IFS-informed consultation, clinical reasoning, and support for therapists seeking certification, advanced trauma training, or to provide trauma intensives.
Business Coaching for Health Professionals – helping therapists and healers build sustainable, values-driven practices
My intensive clients often describe themselves as introspective, growth-oriented people who have “done the work” in talk therapy but still feel stuck. They may have read the books, tried therapy, even explored EMDR or IFS before—but the shifts they long for haven’t fully landed in their body or daily life. Intensives create the time, depth, and safety needed for true change.
My Philosophy & Approach
I believe healing happens not just through insight, but through the body, nervous system, and relationships. I use a compassionate, collaborative approach that honors your pace, your history, and your strengths. Intensives are tailored to each person or couple, combining evidence-based methods with creativity, spirituality, and somatic awareness.
I also believe identity and lived experience matter in the therapy room. I am a white, cisgender, queer, lesbian who is momentarily able-bodied, neurodivergent (highly sensitive/ADHD), and someone who has healed—and continues to heal—from trauma, generational dysfunction, and oppressive systems. My lived experience, including 12-step recovery, deeply informs how I hold space for others.

Beyond the Credentials
At heart, I’m someone who believes in the possibility of change and healing, because I’ve lived it myself. I know what it’s like to feel trapped in old patterns and to long for something different. I also know the courage it takes to sit in the unknown and the reward of finding more clarity, compassion, and freedom on the other side.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me walking by the water, tending to my creative practices, or sharing life with my partner, our dog, and our community.

FAQ For Intensive Therapy Clients
-
An Intensive is a highly focused therapy experience over 3–5 consecutive days, with extended daily sessions (4–6 hours). Unlike weekly therapy, which often gets interrupted by life in between sessions, intensives create the time and space for deeper healing to unfold more quickly.
-
Intensives are ideal for people who:
Have tried talk therapy, self-help, or even EMDR/IFS before but still feel stuck
Are navigating grief, relational loss, betrayal, or childhood wounds
Want relief and results faster than traditional therapy offers
Desire a therapist who is flexible, attuned, and skilled at guiding deep healing
If you resonate with this, a free consultation can help us explore whether an intensive is right for you.
-
Yes. In addition to individual intensives, I work with couples who want to heal relational wounds, improve communication, and reconnect with each other. I integrate EMDR, IFS, and Imago Relationship Therapy to help couples move beyond cycles of conflict, deepen understanding, and build a more secure, compassionate bond. Couples intensives can be especially helpful if you’ve felt stuck in traditional weekly therapy or want a focused, transformative experience together.
-
I specialize in trauma of many kinds — generational trauma, childhood neglect or abuse, spiritual abuse, cultural/family dynamics, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and the impacts of oppressive systems. My work integrates EMDR, IFS, attachment, somatic regulation, and spiritual exploration.
-
Intensives are powerful — and yes, intense — but they are always tailored to what feels safe and manageable for you. We build in preparation, resourcing, and grounding so you’re supported every step of the way. You’ll also continue integrating the work with your primary therapist afterward.
-
Yes. I require all intensive clients to have a primary therapist they can return to after the intensive. This ensures you have ongoing support to continue integrating the changes from our work together. If you don’t have one or you don’t have one that you feel can support your post-intensive processing, I can help connect you with a trusted provider.
