Therapy Clients

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.

  • Do you long for therapy to be more than just talking?

  • Would you like to move beyond intellectual understanding to a deeper kind of healing?

  • Do you desire a more expansive life and relationship with yourself?

  • Do you want a version of therapy that invites in, explores, and expands on your Self-energy, spiritual connection, and/or relationship with a higher power of your understanding?

If so, we might be a great fit.

I help people heal from generational, childhood, cultural, and recent event trauma using EMDR, IFS-Informed EMDR, attachment, spiritual exploration, and somatic regulation.

Maybe these things keep coming up for you:

  • You feel like you’ve been in therapy trying all of the things, and you want to experience a new way of doing therapy.

  • You enjoy therapy with your existing therapist, and you want help moving through some stuck places without changing therapists.

  • You have experience with EMDR and/or IFS, and you want to experience them together.

  • You long for extended time to focus on yourself and your healing.

  • You are a therapist or healer seeking to your own therapy.

  • You notice patterns tied to unresolved childhood issues or attachment wounds, struggle with relationship challenges, experience feelings of inadequacy, perfectionism, ongoing worry, gut issues, chronic pain, persistent grief and loss, avoidance, or heightened anxiety patterns.

If any of this sounds like you, we might be a great fit.

More about Me

I’m Morgan Levine, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and fellow healing human. I was called to this work to help people have more expansive lives and heal from the effects of growing up in dysfunctional families with generational trauma and living in broken, oppressive systems.

I began my own healing journey over 20 years ago. Initially, I engaged in talk therapy, which was helpful to some degree, but I realized over time that the primary focus was on thinking. Over-intellectualizing was an overused strength of mine, as you might relate to; many of us rely heavily on thinking because Western culture tends to emphasize reasoning-based therapies and remedies.

A beloved therapist once told me, “You think your way out of feeling," which puzzled me at the time. What did that even mean? Was there another way?

Nearly ten years later, I discovered therapists and spaces that transformed my life and relationships through EMDR, IFS, and principles of relational recovery. To put it plainly, I recognize this path isn’t easy; it can be a winding journey! Also, who enjoys drawing attention to pain and deeply feeling all of their feelings?!

Let’s be honest - Many of us weren’t taught how to tolerate and regulate emotions as we grew up; we were told to “stop crying, or else I’ll give you something to cry about”, or maybe we were just given something to distract us from our feelings. We rarely saw healthy emotional or relational modeling. It makes sense that we’re afraid of our feelings or stuck in a cycle of avoidance!

Somatic and spiritual healing invite us into something deeper - into the wisdom of the body and the great mysteries of our inner worlds, ultimately leading to greater connection.

One day, after some time in my own IFS-informed EMDR therapy and recovery journey, I noticed that the critical voice in my head and the anxiety pangs in my chest had significantly shifted. My relationship with myself and others began to improve.

I learned the power of trusting my body to digest what I cognitively could not.

Somatic therapy is about creating the right conditions for our nervous systems to heal and reconnecting ourselves on a cellular level to a felt sense of well-being. Spiritual healing invites us to connect with meaning and purpose, and move beyond survival into expansion, peace, trust, creativity, and aliveness.

I integrate these concepts with IFS and EMDR and use them as a wise guide to help people, like you, move toward your own healing that is felt, embodied, and transformational - not just intellectual.
