Morgan Levine, LCSW

Morgan Levine, LCSW, is an IFS Therapist (IFS Institute) and EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Certified in EMDR (EMDRIA), IFS-Informed EMDR (Syzygy Institute), and Imago Relationship Therapy (Maya Kollman).

Her specialities include IFS-Informed EMDR Intensives and Intensive Retreats for fellow therapists and adults healing from childhood trauma, attachment wounds, and complex PTSD.

Morgan also offers couple intensives for intimate partners and dyads (friends, family members, etc) who have done their own individual IFS and/or EMDR therapy or recovery work, and who want to deepen their connection or address a stuck dynamic.

Do you want to do an Intensive or Intensive Retreat with a therapist who specializes in Intensives?

If you answered yes, then Morgan may be a great fit for you. She has completed over 100 intensives (25+ Intensive retreats).

Unlike other therapists, who fit Intensives into their existing caseload, Morgan only offers IFS-Informed EMDR intensives and retreats for individuals and couples who want faster, deeper healing and long-lasting results.

IFS Informed-EMDR Intensives

If you’ve tried therapy, gained insight and some healing, but still feel stuck, EMDR Intensives may be the next step in your healing journey.

Many of my clients are therapists themselves or they have been in, or currently have a therapist, often an EMDR therapist, and they want to stay with their therapist, but they want time and space beyond the weekly or biweekly sessions.

A lot of my clients are also EMDR therapists themselves seeking their own intensives!

Unlike weekly or biweekly sessions, EMDR intensives allow you to spend focused time with me creating the safety and depth needed for lasting transformation. I offer intensives to help you process trauma, grief, anxiety, relationship wounds, depression, avoidance, and the impacts of generational and cultural trauma.

EMDR Intensives are not just for trauma; EMDR can also help improve performance!

I bring a unique integrative approach to intensive therapy. As a Certified EMDR Therapist, who is also Certified in IFS-Informed EMDR, and Imago Relationship Therapy, I combine evidence-based methods like EMDR with Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal theory, Attachment, somatic practices, and creative expression, so you can move beyond intellectual understanding into embodied healing.

Whether you are an EMDR therapist, you are new to these modalities, or you are somewhere in-between, my role is to help you release what keeps you stuck and reconnect with resilience, clarity, and freedom.

Speaking + Training

Invite Morgan to Speak, Teach, or Train

In addition to my clinical work, I offer speaking engagements, professional trainings, workshops, experiential learning opportunities, and customized team trainings for therapists, group practices, clinical organizations, conferences, businesses, and professional communities.

My teaching is grounded in years of trauma therapy, business operations, and the belief that meaningful change happens when we develop the capacity to notice our internal responses, understand what drives them, and take responsibility for how we choose to respond.

Clinical Speaking & Training

For therapists and clinical organizations, I offer trainings and presentations on topics including:

  • Breaking Free from the 50-Minute Therapy Hour: Rethinking how we structure trauma treatment

  • Designing & Delivering Multi-Day EMDR Intensives: Clinical, ethical, and practical considerations

  • IFS-Informed EMDR: Working with parts, protectors, polarization, and complex trauma within the EMDR framework

  • Sensory Resourcing for Complex Trauma & Dissociation: Pacing, dual awareness, resourcing, and working within a client’s nervous system capacity

  • From Weekly Therapist to Intensive Therapist: Building a clinically sound and sustainable intensive practice

  • The Therapist as Instrument: Exploring the parts, patterns, and nervous system responses we bring into the therapy room

  • Pricing, Boundaries & Sustainability: Examining the internal and practical shifts involved in creating a practice that supports the therapist, too

IFS for Teams: Personal Responsibility, Boundaries & Empowered Leadership

I also offer experiential IFS-informed trainings for corporate teams, leadership groups, organizations, and professional communities interested in building healthier ways of working together.

Workplace challenges aren't only about communication strategies. We each bring an internal system to work with us. Under pressure, different “parts” of us may overfunction, people-please, avoid conflict, become defensive, take on responsibility that isn't ours, struggle to ask for what we need, or expect others to manage something that ultimately belongs to us.

Using the accessible language and principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Non-violent Communication, I help teams become more curious about these patterns without turning the workplace into a therapy room.

IFS for Teams: How to Empower Yourself Through Personal Responsibility & Boundaries explores how team members can:

  • Recognize when a reactive or protective part has taken over

  • Differentiate what is mine to carry from what belongs to someone else

  • Notice overfunctioning, rescuing, people-pleasing, avoidance, and boundary patterns

  • Communicate needs and limits without making someone else responsible for them

  • Tolerate other people's disappointment, discomfort, or different perspectives

  • Move from blame and reactivity toward curiosity and personal responsibility

  • Develop clearer emotional and expectation boundaries

  • Respond to conflict with greater choice rather than automatically repeating familiar patterns

  • Build cultures where accountability and compassion can coexist

The goal isn't to eliminate conflict or make everyone comfortable. It's to help people develop a stronger internal capacity to notice what is happening within themselves, take responsibility for what belongs to them, communicate more clearly, and allow others to do the same.

These trainings can be customized for leadership teams, executive groups, small businesses, healthcare organizations, group practices, and other teams navigating growth, change, conflict, burnout, or complex interpersonal dynamics.
