Therapy Clients
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here. I help people heal from generational, childhood, and recent trauma intensive using EMDR, IFS-Informed EMDR, attachment, and somatic regulation.
Maybe these things keep coming up for you:
Your schedule is demanding and unpredictable, making a weekly therapy appointment feel overwhelming.
You want a break from your daily grind and to combine that with some healing.
You feel like you’ve been in therapy trying all of the things and you want to experience a new way of doing therapy.
The idea of spending months or years in talk therapy makes it feel impossible to ever feel better.
You enjoy therapy with your existing therapist but you want help to move through some stuck places without changing therapists.
You are a deep feeler or healer and you long for extended time for you to focus on yourself and your healing.
If any of this sounds like you, we might be a fit.
More about Morgan
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a neurodiverse woman. I was called to this work because I wanted to help people have more satisfying lives and relationships and heal from the effects of growing up in dysfunctional families with generational trauma and living in broken, oppressive systems.
I started my own healing journey nearly 20 years ago. I initially started with talk therapy and eventually found my way to therapists and spaces that transformed my life and relationships with EMDR, IFS, and relational recovery principles. So, I understand this path isn’t easy! Who loves to bring attention to pain and feel their feelings?! That is until one day, after some time in therapy, I noticed the critical voice in my head and the anxiety pangs in my chest had significantly shifted. My relationship with myself and others started to improve.
I learned the power of trusting my body to digest what I cognitively could not.
Let’s be honest. We weren’t taught how to tolerate and regulate emotions when we were growing up; we were told to stop crying or we were given something to distract us. We rarely saw healthy emotional or relational modeling. It makes sense that we’re afraid of our feelings or stuck in a cycle of avoiding!
I am passionate about providing healing spaces for those who enjoy going deeper or who need a break and want to accelerate their healing. My style of therapy is compassionate, creative, and heavily informed by the brilliance of our bodies and systems to protect us as well as the brilliance of our bodies to heal under the right conditions.
If you are someone who enjoys the comfort of your home and having your people and your pets nearby, you might enjoy working with me virtually. I offer teletherapy (online counseling) for people located anywhere in Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Colorado, or Florida.
Individuals and couples local to Bucks County, Montgomery County, the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, or northern New Jersey will find in-person intensives in my office in Paoli, PA on the mainline just outside of Philadelphia a convenient drive or train ride away.
Clients who are located in states further away or who are craving an immersive experience may wish to consider an in-person multi-day intensive retreat surrounded by nature or you may find your own accommodations nearby and come to my office for daily intensives over 3-4 days.
All intensives with me are supported by my expertise in EMDR, IFS-Informed EMDR, Imago Relationship Therapy, neurobiology, and attachment and include collaboration with existing therapists and extensive workbooks to take with you on your healing journey.
An Intensive might be for you if…
You have been in therapy for years but getting nowhere or moving too slowly.
You long for healing and to feel light and free for once in your life.
You’ve been trying all the things, practicing good coping strategies yet still feel stuck.
You cognitively understand new things, yet your body is still reacting or feeling confused.
You’re curious about how intensive EMDR therapy can help as you work with your primary talk therapist.
You need more efficient support as the busy professional and/or parent with kids who has too much their plate.
You want to work with a therapist who is a human being first and works from a fellow traveler model.
You are a current client of ours who is needing extra, focused support quickly.
You are someone who just prefers to work intensively.
For Therapists
I am here to support therapists in a number of ways. We might be a fit if:
-You have a client you think would benefit from an adjunctive intensive and you want to send them to someone who is both skilled in EMDR and highly collaborative.
-You want comprehensive support and consultation on clinical reasoning that is informed by EMDR, IFS, Polyvagal Theory, and Attachment.
-You want to receive consultation toward EMDRIA Certification.
I provide collaborative adjunctive EMDR and IFS-Informed EMDR intensive retreats and meet with referring therapists before and after the intensive treatment. I also regularly provide individual consultation and run a number of supervision groups. For those seeking EMDR certification or licensure hours, I am an EMDRIA Approved Consultant in Training and I am also a Board Approved Supervisor for Social Workers and Professional Counselors in Maryland and a Board Approved Social Work Supervisor in Virginia.
It’s time to work smarter, not harder.
