Financing Therapy

We do not participate in any private insurance plans. Our clients pay for services at the time of therapy or on a payment plan a payment plan for therapy intensives with Morgan. We accept HSA and provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement if you have Out-of-Network (OON) benefits. We also offer a limited amount of reduced rate slots.

Many clients don’t even realize they have OON benefits and they may be eligible for reimbursement up to 80% of their therapy fees!

We can check your OON benefits following your FREE CONSULTATION to help verify your Out-of-Network benefits!

We choose to work outside of the insurance system to allow our therapists to maintain their autonomy, ensure confidentiality, and focus on providing high-quality, personalized care that is evidence based. Insurance companies limit reimbursement to 53-minute sessions, not because it is clinically the best way to receive therapy but because they can maximize the amount of clients therapists are seeing and place limits on the time you can receive therapy.

Our ultimate goal is to create a therapeutic environment that is ideal for healing. To achieve this, our therapists have significantly smaller caseloads, offer extended sessions & multiple sessions a day (intensives). All of this alows us to give highly specialized quality treatment to our clients. Our hourly rates reflect our specialized, high quality care and ensure our therapists can do all of this and make a livable wage. We acknowledge our rates may make our services out of reach, and if this is true for you, we encourage you to reach out anyway. We can verify your insurance coverage to see if you can receive reimbursement to help cover the cost of therapy and we can discuss our reduced rate or payment plan options.

Out-of-Network (OON) Benefits

Want to check your own Out-of-Network (OON) benefits?

If you want to seek more information about your out-of-network benefits, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions:

  • Do I have benefits for out-of-network psychotherapy?

  • Is there a deductible? How much have I reached? When does the deductible reset (usually January 1)?

  • What are the out-of-network benefits for CPT codes 90791 (initial assessment), 90834 (individual psychotherapy), 90837 (individual psychotherapy)?

Will the insurance company reimburse for sessions over 60 minutes? EMDR intensive sessions are typically 90-120 minutes at a time. If so, how do they want those sessions billed?

Will they reimburse you for two 90837 sessions in one day? Most insurances only reimburse one session a day and up to 50-60 minutes

  • Do I have coverage for therapy via teletherapy (video or phone), with the modifier code 95? This is usually indicated on your receipt or claim by adding "95" to the billing code, i.e. 90834-95 is for an individual session via teletherapy. This will help us know if we can meet virtually for the pre-intensive or post-intensive sessions or if it needs to be in-person for you to get reimbursed.

  • Do I need any pre-authorization to receive these services out-of-network?

  • Can I submit claims electronically? How long does it take to process?
