Evyan Roberts is a Licensed Master of Social Work trained in EMDR and IFS-Informed EMDR. She offers ongoing therapy for clients who want to incorporate EMDR into their weekly support. EMDR is most known for being highly effective with trauma and mental health treatment. However, it is also used for performance enhancement to excel in areas such as work, creative arts, and relationships.
We might be a great fit if:
You want to understand and heal the effects of stored grief and loss, ambiguous loss, and intergenerational trauma
You or a loved one live with chronic illness or terminal illness.
You want to increase self-worth, self-esteem, and self-empowerment
You identify as a woman of color, BIPOC, and/or LGBTQIA+
You experienced trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, or harassment
Working with me you’ll experience a client-focused environment, through a lens of humility, intersectionality, and compassion. My integrated therapeutic approach goes beyond just talk therapy. I draw on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), neurobiology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), my training as a Death Doula, and attachment. I also explore and celebrate neurodiversity with my clients and utilize the wisdom of the body and the nervous system for healing.
NOTE: I am accepting new clients who can be seen Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings and who want to work weekly with EMDR & IFS-Informed EMDR.
