Therapy Clients

You are seeking a flexible way to receive therapeutic support that is different from the traditional model of weekly or biweekly long-term psychotherapy. Maybe these things keep coming up for you:

  • Your schedule is demanding and unpredictable, making a weekly therapy appointment feel overwhelming.

  • You feel like you need more help and more quickly. The idea of spending months or years in talk therapy makes it feel impossible to ever feel better.

  • You enjoy therapy with your existing therapist but you want help to move through some stuck places without changing therapists.

  • You are someone who enjoys going deeper and you long for extended time for you to focus on yourself and your healing.

EMDR & IFS-Informed EMDR intensives support those who feel like traditional talk therapy would be too disruptive to their already hectic lives, those who need to feel better now, and those who crave deeper healing.

Your Intensive Includes:

  • 45-minute consultation to assess for candidacy

  • 90-minute pre-treatment intake to identify prepare for your intensive as well as target unpleasant beliefs, body sensations, emotions, or images from which you are seeking relief.

  • Personalized treatment workbook, which allows you to work on your treatment goals before, during, and after our intensive sessions.

  • A customized treatment program with targeted treatment goals. Therapy with Morgan is done either in person in Pennsylvania or virtually, often for 3-5 days. (For virtual treatment, clients must be located in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, Florida, or Colorado at the time of treatment.)

  • Post-treatment interview to assess and support your adaptation to positive changes from treatment.

An EMDR Intensive might be for you if…

You have been in therapy for years but getting nowhere or moving too slowly.

You long for healing and to feel light and free for once in your life.

You’ve been trying all the things, practicing good coping strategies yet still feel stuck.

You cognitively understand new things, yet your body is still reacting or feeling confused.

You’re curious about how intensive EMDR therapy can help as you work with your primary talk therapist.

You need more efficient support as the busy professional and/or parent with kids who has too much their plate.

You are a current client of ours who is needing extra, focused support quickly.

You are a new client who just prefers to work intensively.

Therapists

I believe that therapists should always seek excellence and perspective in their practice, and that means continuous learning and growing through consultation. We might be a fit if:

  • You want comprehensive support and consultation on clinical reasoning that is informed by EMDR, IFS, Polyvagal Theory, and Attachment.

  • You want to receive consultation toward EMDRIA Certification.

  • You are interested in breaking away from the traditional way of working as a therapist and want to design the work life that best supports you to do your best clinical work.

It’s time to work smarter, not harder.
